About Peter Carter

I am a professionally qualified | accredited* sex therapist, and Registered Nurse with over 30 years experience. 


My philosophy is rooted in the belief that sexual health is a basic human right. I work to integrate compassion, a strong therapeutic relationship, and innovative interventions, alongside clinical knowledge and skills.  


I have held senior level nursing posts in some of the largest sexual health services in the UK, and was Government Sexual Health Nurse Advisor, Department of Health (England) 2002-2011. 


Accredited with the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (AccCOSRT) | Registered with the United Kingdom Nursing and Midwifery Council | Enhanced DBS status | Professional Liability Insurance | Registered with Information Commissioner's Office (UK). 


I work within the codes of ethics & professional standards set by the above professional bodies.
